"There’s a stereotype that black people are lazy. I don’t know if that’s true, but I know white people went all the way to Africa to get out of doing work."

White people problems

Probably a controversial thing to say. But fck it. The world doesn’t owe you anything. Stop acting so entitled and do some real work.

Maybe you’re white and this isn’t you, congrats!!! But if it is you, or someone you know, slap that bitch and tell them they ain’t special. HURTS TO HEAR but you aren’t fucking special just cause your parents say so. You’re special when you put in work and make something of yourself. When you have ACCOMPLISHMENTS then you are special. That’s like telling myself I’m a genie everyday and one way I wake up in a lamp and grant wishes. Ain’t gonna happen with just talk. This is not the case of a self fulfilling prophecy unfortunately. This is a case of spoiled, entitled, ME ME ME generation.

If you’re a piece of shit. The world doesn’t wanna bother making sense of you. Dont ask why you cant get a job, fix your shit. My Ex is a White Male with wealthy parents and a connected family and he complains he can’t get a job for over two months. You’re looking for a minimum wage job and you’re a WHITE MALE. “I’m so tired from dropping my résumé off at two places. Whew why don’t I have a job??”

Omg. Just frustrating when you know people immigrate to this country to wash your goddamn dishes. Little fuckers act like the world owes them something. News flash!!!! You haven’t done shit, so you don’t deserve shit. Simple! People are delusional.

By Gareth O’Malley (@elegiacstanzas) (thanks anon for the tip!)

So far, the new Vampire Weekend record is a pretty clear attempt to distance themselves from the Graceland-isms on their first two records.
